A lovely red and white day today.

A huge box of batting and backing fabric from lovely Linda in Italy and a package from Carol E containing lots of lovely red and white blocks from her Red and White Party. This photo doesn't show all the lovely blocks - I'll take more photos soon for the Quilts 4 Leukaemia Flickr Group.
The backing fabric is so beautiful.

There's yards and yards of it!
Linda and Carol - thank you both so very much. Your kindness is overwhelming.

thanks to you Clare.
ciao ciao
I was just writing a post at my blog about the first red/white top I made! Come over and see. (Glad to know they arrived safely.)
I wanted to send you an email but can't seem to connect to your address since I'm using a computer that doesn't have Outlook.
I really can't speak for the child in question -- I know originally the request was for postcards, no gifts -- but you can reach someone from his extended family (who originally launched the postcard campaign) here:

It's interesting you found my blog through a search about leukemia because we actually have ;uch more in common (close to the same age and living in SW France.) I know the Dordogne well..
