Do you remember Sophie Foxley? The little girl from Shropshire, UK who received the second quilt.
Back in November some heartless, spineless person was leaving death threats and very very nasty comments on her blog. Sophie's father stepped in and comments were blocked. The police were alerted and, at long last, they have found the culprit.
Would you believe a 9 year old was doing this. A 9 year old! It doesn't bear thinking about.
This blog is dedicated to the memories of David who left us on 28th May 2007, Terri who left us on 13th March 2009, Morgan who left us on 8th April 2011, Kael who became an angel on 12th April 2011 and Riley who joined them on 1st January 2013.

Quilts 4 Leukaemia Gets Another Award

We have received the Blogging with a Purpose award given to us by Finn who writes the Riding the Orphan Train blog.
It's YOU who this award should go to. You've helped raise awareness for this horrible form of cancer and given lots of love, joy and hope to the children and their families who have received the quilts.
I've now got to abide by the rules for this award, which are (goodness - that sounds like Oscar night LOL).
1. Awarded parties must nominate five people who have not received the award.
2. The blogs that receive the award must serve some purpose.
3. In their post about the award they need to link back to this entry.
4. Awarded parties must post the award banner on their site.
I'll be back later with my list.
