A Sad Day

I receive an e-mail this morning from Karen, Terri's Aunt. Terri was the recipient of Quilt No. 9

Terri lost her battle with Leukaemia and left us quietly last Friday, at home, aged 16.

She had been battling with Leukaemia for 10 years.

Karen told me that the quilt was in constant use, not just a show piece.

Karen - our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Claire, thanks for passing on the news. I'm going to make a few blocks for a new quilt today and say a few prayers for her.

Clare I'm sorry for Terri, for her family.

I went back to read again the AUGUST POST that Terri's aunt sent for the quilt. There is a picture
with Terry and I saw that her smile it's wonderful.

ciao ciao

Oh, that is so terribly sad!!!! I'm glad she could enjoy the quilt for a while, at least. She knew people were thinking of her. That is good. Your project is doing a great thing.
